The Cabra History and Folklore Group is a group of local people who meet regularly, who have
an interest in all aspects of history and in particular the social history of the greater Cabra area. The aim of the group
is to provide a platform for local people where they can explore all aspects of history in a friendly, non judgemental
and fun environment.
The Group will compile and record information, recollections and memories of the past with a view to building
a personal and community memory bank of the greater Cabra area. Through the medium of photography, computerisation and
electronic communication we plan on storing all aspects of information related to the greater Cabra area for future generation
to come.
On this home page, we will introduce our group and give some examples of the types of activities
we're involved in.
